Kimberly Aufhauser

Kimberly grew up in Bellport, Long Island and spent much of her time in the Hamptons. After receiving her BFA and MS degrees in New York, she moved to California. Kimberly worked in interior design in the Bay Area while also training and instructing at Stanford’s Red Barn and designed her own handbag line sourcing materials from Europe.  She then founded her own design and styling business creating beautiful interiors for high tech elites (while also designing custom furniture and managing all of her projects). Kimberly came back to New York to design and manage her own large scale remodel before moving to Islamorada in the Florida Keys where she continued her design business with projects throughout the Keys and Miami.  Her reputation quickly grew by word of mouth, coined “The Finisher” by her clients for her ability to navigate and negotiate any scenario and turn obstacles into opportunities time after time.

Upon returning to the Hamptons with many years as an entrepreneur and principal of Livehause (her styling and design company), the move into real estate was a natural transition. Kimberly enjoys the relationships she builds with her clients and is a stalwart advocate with a witty sense of humor. She has owned homes in New York, California and Florida, thus making Kimberly well versed in the experience of being a client. With her design background and knowledge of homes, she helps clients see the big picture and potential of a property. 
 
Once an avid equestrian, Kimberly now enjoys tennis - while running a tennis club briefly in the Keys, she once persuaded Patrick McEnroe to actually ‘‘play in’ with several groups and students on one unforgettable New Years Day. Along with her son, she relishes her adventures in travel and getting out on the water.
